Oksana comes from a family of gymnasts and coaches. Her mom was a rythmic gymnast in her native Russia. her father is an English professor for Brigham Young, University. He was a member of the men's team when he attended classes there.
Oksana's Uncle Craig coaches the level 10's at Cascade Locks and his daughter Kylie is a senior elite there. Her other Uncle Jason, coaches with his wife at Snowy River. She has recently transferred from Sage Brush Gymnastics.
Her goal for the year is to do the best she can, and if she makes the Worlds or Olympics, so much the better. She would like to earn a college scholarship to either BYU or Utah.
