Sydeny was first introduced to gymnastics when she attend a fun meet her sister was competing in at Perfection Gymnastics. She was amazed with how entertaining gymnastics was and wanted to go out on the floor during the competition and show everyone what she could do. Sydney has always been a performer. She loves an audience and has been a been involed with dance since she was 3. In 1999 she took her first gymnastics class and from there has continued to excell. She has followed in her older sister Lilia's footsteps but has a unique style. She plays to the judges and crowd on every event and loves to entertain. When Lilia retired from the sport Sydney cut back her hours and stayed on just for recreational purpose. She continued with dance and had actually considered taking up Rhythmic Gymnastics. When Lilia decided to come out of retirement Sydney again followed her sister to Dynamix. Training at Dynamix was fantastic but wasn't the right environment for Sydney to excel to her potential. In a hard decision, Sydney packed her bags and moved to Houston to continue her elite career at Gym Stars Elite. She hopes to excel as an elite and earn a spot on the National team.
